The Hanomag Contract Hardening Group has been one of the leading companies in industrial heat treatment for over 30 years. With twelve sites and state-of-the-art plant technology, Hanomag optimises production processes to ensure maximum precision and cost-effectiveness.

To further reduce production times and improve processes, Hanomag Aluminium Solutions relies on NX CAM and the digital twin (VNCK).

The project

Less running-in time, greater productivity

Machine downtime is one of the biggest cost factors in production. The aim of the project was to drastically reduce set-up times, make NC programmes more efficient and identify sources of error at an early stage through realistic simulations.
