Efficient customer advice with the POST-EEG tool
The amendment to the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) raised many questions for customers. The Stadtwerke Bielefeld Group responded with the POST-EEG tool, which provides customers with quick and uncomplicated answers. There is a great need for advice, especially for expiring contracts for renewable energy systems.
Thanks to Mendix’s flexible low-code technology, the tool was developed and deployed in just seven days. The intuitive user guidance makes it easier for customers to find their way around and enables solutions to be found quickly.

Digitalisation of ticket sales with the moBiel JobTicketPortal
The Stadtwerke Bielefeld Group is also focussing on digital solutions in the area of local public transport. The moBiel JobTicketPortal replaces the paper-based ordering process and provides companies and their employees with seamless online processing.
Before digitalisation, orders were placed using Excel spreadsheets that were manually transferred to the system. With the new portal, users can register themselves, book their ticket directly online and keep track of the costs at all times. Interfaces to SAP facilitate billing and optimise the entire process. The result: over 2,500 active users and increased turnover thanks to simplified sales.
