Still using analogue systems on the shop floor?
In many manufacturing plants, quality management, sample approval and inspection processes are still carried out manually — using Excel, paper and analogue measuring equipment. This takes time, leads to errors and makes transparent quality assurance more difficult.
Our solution digitises inspection and measurement processes directly at the workstation: measurement values are automatically recorded, processed in real time and seamlessly integrated into existing systems.
Digital inspection processes. Real-time data. Less effort.

The challenge
Does this sound familiar?
Test and measurement data are still recorded and transferred manually
→ high workload, media breaks and unnecessary sources of error
Manual processes delay inspections and the further processing of quality data
→ longer lead times and inefficient workflows
Quality data is scattered across Excel spreadsheets or stand-alone solutions
→ limited traceability and no central database
Test procedures rely heavily on individual staff members and their practical experience
→ difficult to scale in the face of a skills shortage and staff turnover

The solution
Digital measurement. Process information straight away.
We digitise your entire inspection process – from goods receipt to final inspection. Instead of isolated tools and manual data transfer, we create an end-to-end digital solution that integrates seamlessly into your existing system landscape.
The principle: your measuring instruments are connected directly to a web-based application. Measurement values are automatically fed into guided inspection sequences – no keyboard, no mouse, no media breaks. Every click of the ‘Data’ button on the measuring instrument automatically takes you to the next inspection step.
No off-the-shelf standard software, but a customisable solution tailored to your specific inspection processes.
- Digital measurement rather than manual transcription
- Automating and managing test processes
- Process quality data directly
- Systematically reducing sources of error
- Ensuring seamless traceability
- Enable interfaces to SAP, Teamcenter and other systems
A seamless workflow
Digital inspection processes directly on the shop floor
- Right at your workstation — without any disruption
- Guided processes (step-by-step workflows)
- Connection to measuring instruments (Bluetooth, serial interface)
- Automated test logic & tolerance checks
- Centralised data storage & archiving
- Integration, e.g. into MES, ERP or machine environments
- Complete documentation
Digital recording of your inspection and sampling data — without any disruption to the workflow
Step-by-step workflows
→ clear procedures, regardless of your staff’s level of experience
Connection of digital measuring equipment (e.g. Bluetooth, serial interface)
→ Measurement values are automatically imported
Seamless integration into your existing systems
→ no data silos, no isolated solutions
Routine inspection
Goods receipt
Ongoing quality management

How it works
5 steps to a digital solution:
- Connecting a measuring instrument: Digital measuring instruments are connected once only
- Start an inspection job: Staff select the job directly at their workstation
- Automatic data capture: Measurement values are imported directly — no manual data entry required
- Real-time checking and control: tolerances and rules are checked automatically
- Documentation & Analysis: All data is immediately available in the system
The New World

From prototype testing to mass production

Technology that adapts to your processes
The solution is based on the Mendix Workstation Client – a platform component that reads data from your connected measuring devices via USB, Bluetooth or serial interfaces and transmits the data in real time to a web-based application.
The application is customised to suit your testing processes and can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems such as SAP, Teamcenter or your QM system via standardised interfaces (REST API, OPC UA, etc.).
- Digital callipers, dial gauges, micrometre screws
- Industrial scales and torque wrenches
- Barcode scanners and smartcard readers
- Label printers and signal lights
