d.u.h.Group GmbH is a medium-sized group of companies headquartered in Bielefeld, with six further sites in Germany and Austria. Since the 1990s, we have stood for innovation, quality and collaborative partnerships. Our focus is on PLM solutions, simulation, product development, design, low-code applications, NVH technologies and measurement technology. As a long-standing Siemens partner, we offer bespoke solutions that help companies across various industries to streamline their processes and drive forward their digital transformation.

History

Milestones of d.u.h.Group GmbH.

  • Expansion of business in the DACH region.

    d.u.h.Group GmbH offers a comprehensive range of services, enabling it to act as a competent partner to its clients on all matters relating to digitalisation and engineering. The expansion of the business in the DACH region and with international clients is in full swing.

  • Establishment of duh Austria GmbH & opening of a branch in India.

    Stefan Hindrichs and Michael Runge jointly manage d.u.h.Group GmbH. The strategic partnership with Siemens has been recognised, and d.u.h.Group GmbH is once again listed as a Key and Platinum Partner. The establishment of d.u.h. Austria GmbH and the opening of a site in Pune, India, reflect the company’s continued growth.
    Dirk Hindrichs joins the management team to oversee strategic and fundamental decisions and hands over the operational management of d.u.h.Group GmbH to Michael Runge. Together with the managing partner Stefan Hindrichs, they steer the Group’s continued growth.

  • New technology hub in Saarbrücken.

    d.u.h.Group GmbH is opening a new office in Saarbrücken specialising in Mendix solutions. This move was prompted by the digitalisation of the training process at the training provider NeXeo using the Mendix low-code platform. At the new site, a team of experts is developing innovative applications for a wide range of sectors – from retail to major energy suppliers – alongside comprehensive consultancy, personalised support and bespoke training courses.

  • Merger of the individual companies.

    CAE Innovative Engineering GmbH, ConmatiX GmbH and NeXeo GmbH are merging under the umbrella of d.u.h.Group GmbH. This marks an important step towards more efficient collaboration and a seamless range of services for customers.

  • Foundation of d.u.h.Group GmbH.

    Following three years of careful analysis, the decision was taken to merge the subsidiaries, which had previously operated independently, into d.u.h.Group GmbH. Through this strategic move and its teams of experts who undergo continuous training, d.u.h.Group GmbH makes a significant contribution to its clients’ success. Its end-to-end services open up new opportunities.

  • Acquisition of ConmatiX GmbH and NeXeo GmbH.

    The acquisition of ConmatiX, a Siemens Platinum Partner, and NeXeo GmbH from Hamburg marked a significant step towards successfully serving the German market as a leading partner of Siemens Digital Industries.

  • Acquisition of CAE Innovative Engineering GmbH.

    The acquisition of CAE Innovative Engineering GmbH marked the company’s entry into the digitalisation market, as well as into technical product and design development on behalf of clients. Michael Runge recognised a great opportunity in the d.u.h. concept to successfully build on the legacy of CAE Innovative Engineering GmbH, and has been working successfully with Dirk and Stefan Hindrichs ever since.

  • Foundation and development of the d.u.h. group of companies by father and son.

    Dirk U. Hindrichs founded d.u.h. GmbH & Co. KG in Bielefeld. In the years that followed, the company grew rapidly and became a valued partner and consultant to the construction and automotive industries.
    Dirk Hindrichs and his team successfully pass on to their clients the experience they have gained from 30 years in top management across a wide range of sectors.
    From the very beginning, Stefan Hindrichs contributes his experience gained from working at renowned management consultancies and a major energy supplier. Following the acquisition of a significant stake in synavision GmbH, the leading software company for quality assurance in complex buildings, Stefan Hindrichs personally took on responsibility for sales and finance within synavision’s management team.

  • ConmatiX GmbH and NeXeo GmbH were founded.

    The founding of ConmatiX GmbH and NeXeo GmbH by three software specialists, led by Roman Seidler, laid the foundations for an expanded portfolio centred on Siemens software and training. Subsequently, both companies developed into some of SISW’s most successful channel partners in Germany. This significantly strengthened the group’s position in digital product development.

  • CAE Engineering and Service GmbH was founded.

    In 1989, CAE was founded under the name ‘CAE Institute for Product Development and Optimisation within the WAF Association’ as an affiliated institute of Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences. As an affiliated institute, its focus was on research, teaching and continuing professional development. After eight years, CAE took the step of operating as a commercial limited liability company (GmbH) under the leadership of managing partner Michael Runge.
