The d.u.h.Group supported Amphenol Tuchel Industrial in the development of liquid-cooled high-current connectors for electric mobility through targeted FEM and CFD simulations. The analysis covered both mechanical stresses, such as rollover scenarios, and thermal challenges under real-world operating conditions. The results led to optimised cooling performance and structural integrity of the connectors, which significantly improves safety and efficiency in e-mobility.
