24-hour Charity Spinning Marathon – Bielefeld
The d.u.h.Group is kicking off the 2026 cycling season with the 24-hour Charity Spinning Marathon. This is the fifth time the event has been held in partnership with Team Plasmatreat, and it is dedicated entirely to the Bethel Children’s and Youth Hospice.
What makes it special is that people are on the move for 24 hours straight – either on a spin bike or running. The marathon evolves step by step, passing through various stations before finally arriving at Bethel. Every kilometre counts and represents tangible support.
This year, the spotlight is on a new challenge
We are looking for someone who can stay on their bike for the full 24 hours without a break. If this challenge is successfully completed, the d.u.h.Group will make a donation of 2,000 euros. The first participant has already taken on this challenge.
The event really comes into its own at the finish line. At the Bethel Children’s and Youth Hospice, participants meet children and their families. Many get on their bikes themselves, cheer on the participants or become part of the action. A sporting event gives way to a moment that stays with you – direct, accessible and tangible for everyone involved.
The 24-hour Charity Spinning Marathon combines sporting commitment with a clear goal, marking the start of further cycling events this season.
