Highly automated systems place particular demands on durability and maintainability. BizLink commissioned us to design the newly developed LSH retraction system.
Although the technical functionality had already been finalised, BizLink was very open-minded regarding the design. This freedom allowed us to think outside the box on this project too and make an impression with completely innovative ideas.
Concepts
unconventional solutions
We not only devised the new opening concept, which allows access for maintenance from both sides, but also the locking system for the ‘Slight & Click’ fine-adjustment mechanism. We also modified the mounting plate and the side arms to ensure a harmonious overall appearance.
Furthermore, as follow-up projects, we were able to create animations of the entire system. And we were able to use the data from our CAD model not only for a presentation video but also for a video installation guide.
