Roadshow update: A look back at the first stops

With our eye-catching Colani truck, we’re bringing state-of-the-art simulation technology right to the doorsteps of leading industrial companies. The first few weeks have already shown that the demand for practical discussions about Simcenter and Altair solutions is greater than ever.
Simulation is no longer an isolated process, but the driving force behind innovation and cost efficiency. On our current roadshow, we’re helping companies to ignite this driving force. Here are the highlights from our latest stops:

An engaging discussion at Münstermann GmbH & Co. KG
The focus was on the latest opportunities for digital development and efficient product optimisation throughout the entire engineering process. We delved particularly deeply into the field of fluid mechanics: Together with the on-site experts, we examined the models in Simcenter FLOEFD in real time, analysed the results and discussed technical issues directly using the digital twin. This is a prime example of just how important direct dialogue between users and technology partners is.

Innovation in agricultural machinery at Maschinenfabrik Bernard Krone GmbH & Co. KG
Last week, we had the opportunity to showcase our truck right on the Krone premises. The focus here was on speeding up design processes. SimSolid, in particular, impressed the designers as an intuitive tool for lightning-fast structural calculations. There was also an in-depth discussion about the expanded portfolio from Altair (now part of Simcenter) – in particular, particle simulation for agricultural machinery and the Altair Inspire platform attracted a great deal of interest as a means of integrating simulation even earlier into the design process.

Focus on flexibility at E.WINKEMANN GmbH
Digitalisation cannot be forced into a fixed mould. Our visit to E.WINKEMANN demonstrated this. Whilst the initial focus was on simulation, our direct dialogue led to an in-depth discussion on Teamcenter and PLM. This is precisely the aim of our roadshow: we flexibly tailor our content to the specific requirements of your day-to-day engineering work – from calculations right through to end-to-end data management.
The journey continues:
Münstermann, Krone and Winkemann are just three prominent examples of an intensive tour. Over the past few weeks, our truck has visited numerous other companies across Germany. In the coming weeks, we have a host of further stops and exclusive events lined up, where we will shape the future of engineering together.
