As part of a development project, the aim was to create a high-performance, low-maintenance pump for low-viscosity fluids – with a particular focus on efficiency, robustness and flexibility in continuous industrial operation.

Our team subsequently developed a solution that meets precisely these requirements: a plunger pump that combines technical excellence with practical suitability for everyday use.

What the project required

Requirements as the basis for genuine innovation.

The requirements were as specific as they were demanding. The focus was on the need for an industrial-grade pump offering high efficiency and reliability – whilst also offering flexible installation options

    • Pumped medium: water with additives
    • Suitable for continuous operation (24/7)
    • Low pulsation combined with high energy efficiency
    • No gearbox
    • Motor can be fitted on either side
    • Use in a standing and lying position
    • Maintenance-friendly design with easy access
    • Smooth running and low noise levels

Key technical features.

The entire development process was supported by simulation. This resulted in an overall technical concept designed for maximum performance and minimal maintenance requirements.

Technical features:

  • Optimised positioning and cross-sections of the suction and discharge pipes
  • Use of high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials
  • Valves with short switching times and reliable sealing at high pressures
  • Sealing systems for up to 1500 bar
  • Crankshaft with only two bearing points, designed using simulation
  • Effective lubrication concept for vertical and horizontal operation
  • Components rated for 6 million load cycles at 80 °C
  • Easy access to and interchangeability of all relevant components
  • Low vibration and low noise, even at high speeds

What we have developed

The answer: Technically sophisticated, with a modular design.

The result is a modular 5-plunger in-line piston pump which not only meets all the specified requirements but also impresses with features such as an energy-efficient drive and a gearless design.

The pump is robust, compact and specifically designed for continuous industrial use. All components are designed for maximum service life and can be easily replaced when maintenance is required.
