Modern CNC virtualisation
The safe route to RMVM
The transition starts here
Why RMVM is now becoming an indispensable CNC environment
With the end of support for SinuTrain 4.8, updates, Windows 11 adaptations and the latest SINUMERIK ONE software versions will no longer be provided. The consequences are already being felt in many companies: unstable environments, erratic control behaviour and increasing risks in day-to-day CNC operations.
To ensure that training, work planning, CAM and service continue to function reliably in future, a modern, machine-identical CNC virtualisation solution is required – Run MyVirtual Machine (RMVM).

Why RMVM?
Modern CNC virtualisation based on SINUMERIK ONE
RMVM provides a fully virtual representation of the actual SINUMERIK ONE. Cycle logic, motion behaviour and NC execution correspond exactly to the machine. It is compatible with Windows 11, can be expanded in a modular fashion and can be used for all CNC process steps.
- RMVM as CNC virtualisation
- SinuTrain alternative for SINUMERIK ONE
- CNC training without machine time
- Digital CNC environment for AV & Service
Clearly structured to help you make the switch
Our RMVM packages
The packages provide a clear, technical upgrade path, enabling customers to get off to a solid start and expand later as required.
V1: The future-proof entry-level twin
A stable SinuTrain solution running on Windows 11. Ideal for training and basic AV processes.
V2: The complete digital twin
A 1:1 replica of the actual machine for engineering, virtual commissioning and testing.
V1 & 3D Simulation: Safety before downtime
Visual inspection of tool paths, movements and kinematics. Greater process reliability.
V1 & 3D Scanners: Automation for the AV sector
Automatic feature recognition, faster NC programmes, fewer errors.

V1: The future-proof entry-level twin
RMVM V1 is the stable entry-level solution designed to replace SinuTrain. The environment is based on the actual SINUMERIK ONE CNC kernel and replicates the machine’s user interface, cycle logic and NC execution identically – though without 3D simulation. This makes V1 ideal for training, teaching the basics, offline programming and IT-compliant CNC workstations.
- Operate / SINUMERIK ONE CNC kernel
- Cycle and NC logic with identical control systems
- Windows 11-compatible installation
- Offline programming and cycle tests
- No machine kinematics / no simulation

V1 & 3D Simulation: Safety before downtime
With 3D simulation, RMVM becomes a machine-oriented validation platform. Motion sequences, toolpaths and machine kinematics can be fully visualised, enabling collisions, deviations and critical conditions to be detected at an early stage – before real tools or machines are put under strain. This significantly increases process reliability, reduces downtime and allows programmes to be commissioned more quickly and reliably.
- 3D kinematics with realistic axis representation
- Collision check between tool, machine and component
- Material removal / chip volume simulation
- Visualisation of movements and tool paths
- Validation prior to the start of production

V1 + 3D Scanner: Automation for the AV sector
The 3D scanner extends RMVM to include the automatic processing of STEP and scan data. Geometries are recognised, converted into features and prepared directly for NC programmes. This significantly speeds up programme creation, eliminates manual steps and reduces sources of error. The result is faster, reproducible and consistent NC programmes – ideal for time-critical or workshop-based processes.
- Importing STEP, scan and 3D data
- Automatic Feature Recognition (FBM)
- Development of appropriate machining strategies
- Direct processing in RMVM
- Consistent, reproducible NC suggestions

V2: The complete digital twin
V2 creates a 1:1 virtual replica of the actual customer machine – including axis data, parameters, kinematics and control projects. The virtual machine behaves exactly like its physical counterpart, thereby ensuring maximum process reliability. Production programmes can be tested entirely offline, machine downtime is reduced and changes can be prepared with precision. Engineering, retrofit and development tasks can be carried out efficiently without placing any strain on the actual machine.
- CNC kernels with real machine parameters (VCP projects)
- 1:1 mapping of kinematics and machine logic
- Full 3D simulation, including collision detection
- Execution of real NC programmes
- Suitable for engineering, testing and retrofit tasks
